Café

(Camping Coffee Maker)

Whether you are camping, at the local park or tailgating at your favorite game, the nCamp Café is designed to make espresso-style coffee anywhere. It is based on the classic Italian moka pot, which makes rich and flavorful coffee, but it is compact and durable. The Café is about the size of a water bottle and makes about 12 ounces of coffee (equal to 4-demitasse cups). It has folding handles and a nesting cup, making it easy to pack. The 13 oz. (.38 L) cup has a silicone wrap for grip and insulation. The Café is made of stainless steel and is designed to work seamlessly with the nCamp Stove. However, it also works with many other camping stoves. Designed in the USA.

Model: NCM10ESUS
Capacity: 12 oz (340 mL) or 4-demitasse cups
Height: 9.6 in (24 cm)
Diameter: 3.4 in (8.7 cm)
Weight: 27 oz (.76 kg)

The nCamp Café uses a brewing process similar to making espresso (only with less pressure). Just fill the lower chamber with water and the funnel with coffee (standard grind, not espresso grind), the heat. The water boils and is forced through the grounds, then the coffee collects in the upper chamber. Silicone-coated handles make it easy to pour, while the lid keeps heat in, while allowing you to check the brewing process.

I am obsessed with this, it makes the perfect camp coffee. The product is high quality. The cup is well insulated and feels better in my hand than my yeti does. The size of the coffee grounds filter creates the perfect cup of coffee every time. Hats off to this well designed product, a new essential product in my camping pack. No more messy pour over or nasty instant coffee at camp!

Q: Where or how do you get refills of espresso?
A: We do not supply espresso or any other coffee with the kit but any ground up coffee can be used in the Café.

Q: Is there a recommended coffee grind texture that is best? Where or how do you get refills of espresso?
A: A fine grind works best, do not overpack the chamber with the coffee grinds.  You can use anything coffee grind that you want, the café makes “espresso style” coffee and works similar to a moka pot.
